CCAFS Ground Facilities

The CCAFS Ground Facilities gallery features a bit of the old and the new at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, we were provided with unfettered access to areas that some employees are not even allowed to go, you see we were escorted by a employee with an all access badge, a sanitation engineer (Janitor), but are you really a janitor if you work at a place like this, the other contributing factor is that I drive a plain white Ford Excursion just like the ones the staff drove at that time, this day we were allowed to drive to the Launch Complexes, walk on the pads that first carried US astronauts in to space, at LC 14 we could have driven on to the elevated pad its self but caution won out and we just walked.
